Hawks Nest
I and a handful of friends went on a 4-day camping trip to the coast of Hawks Nest. During my stay I had the absolute pleasure of taking these wonderous photos. The 3rd and 5th photos show just a small slice of the scene from an array of mountains surrounding miles of water. Only when one swims out deeper into the red water, then one is able to fully appreciate such a vast landscape. The 7th and 8th photos are of a majestic water dragon that choose to curiously pose for me. It changed locations, positions, and lighting conditions multiple times, while maintaining its 1.5m distance as I honoured its modelling effort by capturing its charm on camera. The last photo is of an Australian monitor lizard, (or a goanna) which continued to mark its territory by aggressively walking through the campsite during our stay. This photo captures the expression of a defeated monitor lizard as it was scared up a tree.
